Located on the southeastern coast of Florida, Singer Island is a small, sun-soaked peninsula with a beach-town allure that shines year-round.
Sweeping water views and small-town coastal charm make pockets of the island feel like a well-kept secret. Visitors come to soak up the sun, then linger for breezy waterfront dining and tropical flavors.
Here are a few of the best ways to make the most of any trip to Singer Island. You may find yourself becoming a regular.*
SNORKEL & DIVE
Singer Island’s turquoise waterways teem with colorful sea life, making them a great place to snorkel or scuba dive. Healthy coral reefs lie just offshore, with nearby boat-accessible dive sites and protected shallow-water areas that offer opportunities for every skill level. To fully enjoy the beauty of Singer Island, venture beneath the surface.
One of the area’s most popular spots is Phil Foster Park, located beneath the Blue Heron Bridge connecting Singer Island to the mainland. Because the 15-acre beach park is near the inlet linking the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic Ocean, its waters contain diverse marine life—and they’re crystal clear. While snorkeling the underwater sculpture trail, visitors can expect to see anything from tropical fish, rays, and starfish to sea turtles and manatees.
Across a small channel sits Peanut Island, another popular snorkeling destination accessible by boat or ferry that features a shallow artificial lagoon with calm waters.
Ask your Concierge about renting snorkel equipment or booking an excursion.

GO SPORTFISHING
For those interested in the thrill of the hunt—in an environment as beautiful as it is exciting—sportfishing is the way to go.
Singer Island is the right place to do it: This section of Florida’s southeastern coast attracts some of the ocean’s biggest fish, prime for the catching. To the north is Stuart, considered the Sailfish Capital of the World, and to the south is Islamorada in the Florida Keys, considered the Sportfishing Capital of the World.
Deep-sea fishing charters, captained by knowledgeable local fishermen, can guide you straight to prize catches like sailfish, swordfish, and tarpon. Some local restaurants will even prepare your fresh catch for you. When it comes to mahi, grouper, or snapper, it doesn’t get fresher than reeling it in yourself and eating it just hours later.

HIT THE BEACH
It wouldn’t be a trip to the Sunshine State without time spent relaxing on Singer Island’s 7 miles of Atlantic shoreline.
Visitors and locals come to enjoy Singer Island’s beautiful beaches, but those staying on the island have the easiest access: Resorts like Marriott’s Ocean Pointe and Marriott’s Oceana Palms are beachfront, located directly on its glimmering shores.
With the beach mere steps away, sticking your toes in the sand is simply part of the everyday routine on Singer Island.

RELAX & DINE
All that adventurous activity works up an appetite. These fun spots will help you eat your fill or get your fix on Singer Island.
Named after a legendary fisherman, Johnny Longboats is a classic for just about anything: breakfast, lunch, dinner, or its daily happy hour held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. From cook-your-catch (just bring your own filets in ready to go) to frozen cocktails, this laid-back spot does it all—and is just steps from the beach.
Another favorite on Singer Island is , where the indoor-outdoor setting and coastal sports bar vibe make it the place to be from lunchtime till late night; happy hour is 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Or get an early start with breakfast on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
And if you don’t hit Sailfish Marina at least once during your Singer Island stay, you’ve missed one of the best waterfront restaurants in all of Palm Beach County. The setting is the star of the show here, but the fresh local seafood is a close second. Open seven days a week and offering a breakfast buffet, as well as lunch, dinner, and a raw bar, Sailfish Marina feels like vacation—even for locals. One stop at the tiki bar and you may start to wonder why you would ever leave.
