Maintenance Fees at Work: Keeping Villas Beautiful
By Staff Writer
A big part of your ownership experience is relaxing in beautiful, well-appointed villas. As your home away from home, each villa is carefully maintained through ongoing care and investment so you can enjoy memorable vacations year after year. Your maintenance fees help make that possible.
THE VALUE OF UPKEEP
Like any home, daily use naturally impacts accommodations at Marriott Vacation Club®, Sheraton® Vacation Club, and Westin® Vacation Club resorts and properties.
That’s why dedicated teams work year-round to maintain, repair, refresh, and enhance accommodations. From paint and appliances to cabinetry, beds, and furnishings, key villa features are updated as needed to help preserve the quality and comfort Owners expect.
REFRESHING SOFT GOODS AND HARD GOODS
To maintain a high-quality vacation experience, villas undergo periodic updates throughout their lifecycle.
Soft goods, including upholstery, drapes, carpeting, bedding, and wall finishes, are refreshed every 6 to 7 years. Hard goods, such as appliances, cabinetry, flooring, and plumbing fixtures, are generally updated every 13 to 14 years. Actual timing varies by resort and is subject to each association’s reserve planning, budget and board approval.
READY TO WELCOME YOU
From routine upkeep to thoughtful villa updates, your maintenance fees support the ongoing care and investment that help keep accommodations in excellent condition. These before-and-after photos showcase just a few examples of how these efforts help maintain the quality Owners like you expect.
